Difference of DCS, PLC and FCS in system
1. Main points of difference
(1) How much I/O information the system can handle.
(2) How much control-related control loop information the system can handle.
(3) How many users and devices (CRT, control station, etc.) can be adapted.
(4) How thoroughly the integrity of the transmitted data is checked.
(5) What is the maximum allowable length of the data highway.
(6) How many branches can be supported by the data highway.
(7) Whether the data highway can support hardware produced by other manufacturers
(programmable logic controllers, computers, data recording devices, etc.).
At present, in the DCS system--Siemens 6ES7314-6CH04-0AB0 CPU 314C-2 DP Compact CPU, two types of
communication methods are generally used, namely synchronous and asynchronous. --Allen Bradley
1771-OAD PLC5 Output Module. Synchronous communication relies on a clock to regulate data
transmission and reception--B&R X20AO4622 Analog Output Module, and asynchronous network uses
a reporting system without a clock.--Siemens 6ES7414-5HM06-0AB0 SIMATIC S7-400H CPU Central

The interested persons of mentioned parts may relate with me, price liberally. --
